    I tried the scrub last night. Amazing. and it smelt soooo good.

    Sorry to detour, but I wonder if sugar has the same antimicrobial properties as coconut oil, after all sugar does preserve. Good to hear your experiences with coconut oil on your scalp, I'm going to try it.

    Sugar has limited antibacterial results as a preservative, http://www.ijest.info/docs/IJEST10-02-03-24.pdf.

    And it is the peroxide in honey that has greater antibacterial effects than its sugar content, http://bio.waikato.ac.nz/honey/honey...#Antimicrobial.

    And if I read correctly, the honey's antibacterial action increases when it is diluted-cool.
