Default Should I tie my hands to my back?

    Hi!
when I let my hair down, i feel the constant urge to brush it
i mean, i brush it like, almost all the time, because it just looks like sooo much nicer.
So give it to me straight: how bad is constant brushing?

    I also have another question
I've been searching almost my entire life for a split end. I've NEVER found one. I know what they look like. Do I have mutant hair or am I really that blind?

Thanks for answering my vague questions!

I don't get split ends either. I've had one or two now and then so I know what they look like, but they are definitely the exception rather than the rule.

Congratulations on having good, strong hair!

And no, I would not recommend tying your hands behind my back. Though it's tempting for me to do so. I have a problem with picking at stuff!

What comes to mind is: maybe you could just wear your hair up instead to avoid the temptation of fiddling with it?

However, I know some people are blessed with tangle-free, silky hair that they are able to wear down constantly, and they just don't like wearing it up. If that's the way with you, then either just tell yourself sternly not to play with your hair so much, or else stop worrying about it. If you don't have any split ends, maybe your constant brushing isn't doing any harm.

Haha you made me laugh "I know what they look like"!!!! Haha
You're just born lucky and I'm very jealous.
As for the constant brushing, if you find a tight enough rope or some kind of cure, let me know

Mutant hair For sure. In the most positive meaning. There was a time when I had to look for non-split end And I didn't found one.

Maybe it's because brushing? You distribut oils well. And if you use a BBB... I don't think it can cause damage. So if you can't stop... brush. I know I wanted to brush ALL THE TIME too when I had my hair down, so that's one of the reasons why I wear it up now.
But, maybe, try tu fingercomb it instead of brushing, if you are afraid of damage.

I comb my hair every time I let it down.
If you don't get splits from brushing just do it. You don't have splits, so you are very lucky.

I don't constantly brush (in fact, I do it rarely), and I get split ends all the time. Want me to send you some?

I think your listed length of 14 inches might have something to do with why you don't have split ends. Revisit this when you've gotten to waist....

Tying your hands behind your back will only work to a point. Eventually your hair will reach them.

My hair is hip length now and is often tailbone length. Minimum length 36 inches.

    No split ends then either.

    I'm a trimmer. That's my secret.
