How many moms have sons with long hair?

I am 14 and have long hair like in my avatar. My mom likes it now a lot. I just wanted to know if lots of moms here let their sons have long hair since they like long hair so much.

My son (he's 20 now) had really long hair when he was small. Decided he wanted it all cut off when he started school (age 5). He let it grow again when he was in High School for a while, then changed his mind and buzzed it all off. Go figure.

But it's his hair, he can do what he wants with it.

Our son has had long/short/long hair throught out his life. I'm his dad, but his mom's ok with it too.

I can't help wondering if when he was young he wanted long hair because I had long hair and his mom had short hair -- so (I speculate) he wanted 'boy' hair.

But as a highschooler I'm sure he's more clear on the subject, so he's choosing long hair because he likes the way it looks.

Both of my sons have had long and short hair while growing up. I've always let them do what they want with their hair, one even had blue spikey hair for awhile when he was about 14. Now, one (21 yrs) has hair longer than mine and the other one (22) is in the process of growing his out.

I don't have kids yet but when I do their hair will be their own business.

I'm mother of 3 sons, 2 of them are wearing long hair. They are 9 and 13 years old. The 9 years old one is wearing his hair long since he was a toddler. He has had waist length but it was a little unhandy for him and now he has midback. His hair is very thick and very curly - 3b-3c C iii.
The other son has fine straight hair -1b F ii-, he wanted to grow out his hair a few years ago, his hair is at midback, too and both are not looking girlish.
My DH didn't want sons with long hair but he revised his view, he now says that both are looking great with long hair, it's fitting perfectly to them.
