I'm trying to track down Greydog of hairstick fame and none of the listings on Etsy look to be the same artisan. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

RIP my sweet Jilly-bean. Your momma misses you.
And they're located in San Diego - right in your town. They are great to work with.
the etsy ones always seem like the nicer sticks to me (e.g. pricier). when buy it nows come up on ebay you can get ones for $20 or so. That's how I got mine... luckily someone around here checks every so often and posts it
I just emailed them about a custom project--thanks for your help! I'm now lusting after some crochet hooks that cost a small fortune and wondering if I can wear them as hair sticks. *grin*

For crochet or for hairsticks. I have some Graydog crochet hooks from before I ever saw a hairstick and the only down side is that the prettiest part of mine are the acrylic middle parts that are hidden by my hair if I use them as hairsticks.
Insert the hook part first and pull from the hook end when removing
I have two hairsticks also, and they both have a little swell in the center that keeps them more firmly in place. Subtle, but it makes a difference.
