I have gotten three new hairsticks from Pacifistic Mercantile, I love these, they are pretty and look very cool, especially the glass tipped arrow. All three hairsticks sit in braided Chinese buns.

I am really into hair forks right now! I got a pretty one from Dave's workshop on etsy that is "bloodwood", a reddish color. I need to learn how to post a pic.

Thank you, it is greasewood. I love this wood and it looks so interesting. I am Pagan so I am considering if I should ask the seller to make me a wand of this wood, the hairstick do kind of look like a little wand I think.

I have bought some new hairsticks on Etsy, the black and white one because it is supposed to be extra big and I need another big acrylic for swimming and such. The arrows because I like hair weaponry and since I usually wear black I was thinking a splash of color in my hair would do my good, from a color therapy perspective, and a purple wood stick because it was on special offer and I love purple.

Venefica I love the glass arrow! I wanted one so badly but didn't get to it before they were removed

I hate that the arrows where removed and I completely disagree with the decision. I am all for protecting artist's copyright, but really this design is so simple and have been done so many places in so many things I do not think one person own the rights to it. Pacifistic Mercantile say that he never looked at the other seller's design and came up with it on his own and I think that is believable. I have seen such wrapped arrowheads everywhere and it is not allot of stretch to make them into hairsticks, especially for one who already make arrow hairsticks. In addition even if he had seen the original design and been inspired by it his design is so different from the other seller's that it is insane that his arrows where removed.

When that is said if you write the seller perhaps he could sell you one privately. I also think he is working on a web page to use for selling his stuff.
