Grrr... I can't get my picture to show up! Frustrating.
I am hoping this picture will actually show up..... anyway, this is my first length shot. Note that my hair is damp and unwashed but I didn't realize how uneven my hemline was until I took the picture!

I realize now that I have a LONG way to go to get to waist which is my goal. Can I at least call this APL??

I can see you your picture just fine, I think it is just about apl.
It is a long way to go, but on the bright side, at least you don't have bleach/really bad damage/layers to grow out
I can't say how many times this has happened to me, as far as where I think my hair is...and where it really is. Its such a let down. If it's any consolation.. I wish mine was that healthy looking, and mine is only that long when I straighten it.
Don't worry! It won't take that long. Waist is not too far.
Stop cruelty to apostrophe's.
I guess seeing the length explains why I am still having issues creating up-dos... Cheater's bun is my standby at the moment!
I think I am going to try to wear my hair up for a couple of months, start Monistat again, take my vitamins and just try to be patient! I really am trying to talk myself out of starting henna again.... :/

Call it waist-length-to-be. It's pretty, shiny hair; enjoy it.
Your hemline maybe be just a bit off, but it's also not brushed perfectly either. It may not be as bad as you think. Hair moves around alot.
Look on the bright side, it looks healthy, and you will probably not need to trim too much on your way to waist
Here's the next step: cut off a quarter-half inch. I got my friend to do that at that length, choppyness and texture. Made a WORLD of difference, didn't seem like a change at all.
Beautiful hair by the way.
I think it looks great.
My hair is always wonky when it's damp. Maybe you can have the person takng the picture comb/brush the ends just a titch while you hold still and then back up to take the picture?
I'd call it APL. Keep going girl it'll get waist soon.
