    Default Wearing Ficcarissimo to bed?

So, i just bought a ficcarissimo off the swap board (my frst ficcare yay!). I was wondering if it would be safe to wear it in a top knot to sleep in? I usually wear my hair in a braid for bed, but I switched to a top know because I believed it would be less damaging to my ends. I use pins to secure the bun, but by morning some of them have come outand pulls at my hair a bit. I don't want to use any of my forks or sticks, because with my luck, they would break in my sleep.
Has anyone ever worn a ficcarissimo to bed? Does it work? Is it strong enough? Or is it a totally horrid idea? Thoughts?
    Thanks!

I think it will pull hair out while you toss & turn due to it being such a solid accessory (as in: stays put very well). It would be kind of like having extensions glued in and sleeping with them (bald spots). I would not sleep with hair clips, sticks or anything else, for the same reason.

Not to mention you may flatten the clip causing the enamel on it to crack.

Meh, I sleep with a maxima frequently. I've had no problems other than occasionally it will pull uncomfortably if I move weird in the middle of the night.

ETA: I definitely a side sleeper though, so I'm never laying on it.

    You're lucky then.

I have seen flattened clips, teeth come off, not pretty.

I just got my ficcarissimo today. Geeeeeeez is it comfy! It is lightweight, holds like no other I have ever used, and it doesn't pull my hair! AMAZING!!!!! In truth, this will probably be my only one unless they come out with colours that suit me more. Mine is a large pearlized black one. i was worried that the large would be too big for my fine hair, but boy does it hold like a dream!
I wear my hair in a topknot most nights to protect my ends, so the bun sits right on top of my head. I usually hold it in place with a butterfly clip and because of the placement of the bun I have never had that break, but the prongs always rub against my scalp and by morning I have a headache. I will try the 'issimo in my hair tonight and see how it goes. It is just so darn comfortable, I really don't want to go back to my butterfly clip of doom.
Has anyone else worn an 'issimo to bed?
    Experiences?
    Good idea?
    Definitely a bad idea?

How about try a fluffy scrunchie to secure the top knot?
