    So many gorgeous braids!

I've been working on learning the crown braid on myself. I can do it on my daughters just fine, but I've always wanted to do it on myself. This is my attempt last night, and admittedly, the best-looking side. Still having problems with the partings and switching hands on the first turn. But I'm still fairly happy with it especially considering two of my kids kept trying to play with the hair hanging in my face as I did it (they said they needed to see my face, lol.)

    Renegray all the way!

Well, I was toying around with ideas here. I wanted something more Asian looking. I used a rope braid side bun at the top, then had some accent braids draped around it. The over-shoulder braid is obvious I suppose.

This was a slight variation with a rope over-shoulder braid and a knot bun (forgot the name of it).

Not sure why the sizes are so different, but oh well.

I remember you had posted a picture of your braid on another board. From what I remember, it was awesome for a first time braid because I saw how thick your hair was because of how big that braid looked.

Here's a French braid I did the other day. I thought I was doing a Dutch braid, but when I looked in the mirror after I had finished, I realised that it was French. Silly me

Thunder and lightning won’t change what I’m feeling, and the daffodils look lovely today

Kitty Bird, you're not alone...some days ago I was sure I was braiding French and when I want to tuck my braid I realize thats Dutch...

But anyways you braid looks goregous! I really like the way the colours turn out in the braiding!
Just let it grow...back to my natural hair colour and as long as it grows...
