I English braided my hair today. For some reason, I can't attach the photo here, but I'll be sure to after I figure it out. Oh, and does anyone have any tips on braiding? My braids tend to be uneven towards the bottom since I have to pull it over my shoulder.

I have a twisting problem with fishtails especially. Since my hair is fine and slippery, it isn't enough to make sure it's even before I pull it over my shoulder, since it will still slip around. My solution is to pull it over one shoulder for a couple turns, and then switch it over the other shoulder, back and forth until the end. This is especially helpful with fishtails, but works with english braids too. My other tip is a loose, floppy braid that is intentionally not even or tight, but kind of flows. My way of embracing the fine slipperiness.

Yesterday, my friend did the Katniss braid on me. I pulled the braid from over my shoulder so you could see the whole thing in the picture. it was such a comfortable style to wear!!

Quick braids for work



There are twin braids sort of woven together.



Started them as close to my hairline as I could in 3 minutes



They are a little sloppy in the pictures because I snapped them after I got home tonight.
