Finally LHC i back! So happy!
I've missed this place and all wonderful hairstyles!
Here's some braids I have done in the last month. Unfortunately I don't always take pictues of my harisstyles. I wear french braids and dutch braids very often, so often that I don't think to take photos of them. This time I did take photos of a regular braid, first time on photo.
I can't decide if I like it with flash or no flash though. The hair color is much darker with the flash ( which I don't like), but it looks so much shinier!

When I took the bun out I flipped the ponytail and it turned out like this

This is the first time I've done fishtail plaits as pigtails, I'm not sure why they've twisted round so much. They don't do that when I'm just doing one fishtail. Strange.

Thank you very much! Your piggies look really good. Maybe it's the way it's held while you do it to the side that tightens it just enough to start twisting? That tends to happen with braids that people pull over their shoulders, too.

That's a superb rope braid!

I wish I had a head to practice braids on. For now, my BF's sister lets me braid her hair for special occasions. Those braids are amazing gumball!

I don't often have people around for practicing, so it works out well enough. Otherwise I think my brain would explode with not being able to try things out.

I tried out something new.. I made some sort of half-crownbraid-up-do..ish? Headband? I have no idea, but I like it! It could have been a bit more neat though. And maybe I should grab less hair from the top (as in, put the braid higher?) since I didn't have much hair left that was down... looked a bit like a mullet :P

That's a nice take on the crown braid-ish 'do! I understand how you could get ideas to polish it a little, but it's already great so you're in a very good position.

I made this up today, twin french fishtail braids into a bun its a bit messy but with a bit of work it could look better

I really like fishtails, too, but sometimes it's about whether or not time and effort is worthwhile. Yours are just perfect. That french braid is awesomely thick and looks excellent, too!

Messing around with a waterfall braid...turned into faux crown (I didn't know what to do with the extra braid, haha)

I know exactly what you mean. One way I go about dealing with that is to do a waterfall on each side and combine them into a 3-strand braid where they meet in the back.

Nice job! The skill will get there with practice, even if you take breaks for periods of time.

Here's a picture I took some days ago (while LCH was down). It is a 3-strand rope braid. Done like a 2-strand, only with 3 strands.

I know the braid looks a bit wonky, but it was going up into a bun anyway - and the bun looked really great!

That looks wonderful! You can definitely tell it's a three strand since those ropes tend to look... Tighter? Twistier? Both? I'm sure it made for a great bun.

Wow everything just looks amazing! I think whichever version of picture taking (flash or not) works great in its own way. The buns and the flipped style also are top notch!
