The braid picture thread

I tried to do a Yozhik's herringbone 3 stranded braid, although without the herringbone because I can't do those yet. It's pretty messy because I'm sick and don't do a lot of updos yet, but I'm happy with it.

ETA: Oh I feel bad that the 1000th post for this thread was my very humble, messy braid but oh well.

Yozhik, that 3 herringbone braid is beautiful.. it takes me forever to just do ONE herringbone.. I can't imagine how long it took for THREE!

My first picture post (I hope it works!)..A very quick try:
A very lose 5 strand braid followed up by a very messy herringbone (you can't really see that one). Don't mind the frizzies!

(I can't see the pictures..I wonder what I did wrong... They are in my album: For threads, though!

I will say I'm less-inclined to do herringbones now than I was at BSL because I have to braid down a lot further.

Alacris, nice braids! I have never before attempted a 5-strand, and I stand in awe of your skill.

In order to insert a photo, take the "image location" (found if you right-click the photo), and insert it with [img][/img] around it.

It was one of my first attempts and fell out rather quickly, but I kinda liked the look of it

I also really like your braids! My herringbones tend to be rather wide and don't look nearly that good!

(I edited my post and it works! I used the url in the browser when I opened the ablum, but it states album.php in stead of picture php. So thank you

I was wondering what I did wrong^^)
