Hair down to dry and I can feel it against the backs of my arms!
If I tilt my head back it can reach bsl!

I had a chance to see a pic of me from the back. Random casual pic so no posing or art directing, and hair hadn't been TT'd or combed for 2 or 3 hours so I got to really see it the way the it looks most of the time, the way the world sees it, more objectively than I can see it for myself in the mirror...

It LOOKS long - like my goal/dream length long! And it looks quite thick, even though it had settled into its beachy, piecey tendancy! And it looks healthy, even with 9" of damage still left to grow out! It's looking the actual length that it is, because the hemline is full enough now that the length is reading visually, not just technically

2-1/2 years in and still a long way to go, but it's perked me up at a time when I've been having days where I'm feeling like the progress is so slow

My hair is finally feeling "regular-long"; what most people would refer to as "long". I think it'll be a long time yet before it feels long by LHC standards...

HeartofHaleth congrats. It feels good to feel that your hair is long. Though I felt that way at a much shorter length than you.

Even though my hair has been past shoulder for a couple of months, I actually noticed my hair getting caught in my purse strap today! I've got a long way to go but it actually felt 'long' for a second as I gently freed my tresses from the strap....
