The Mini-Milestone Thread

Kelikea, lovely colour and texture. It looks very long too.

I noticed that I might be able to do something that resembles french twist. I bought a lot of different clips and a comb that might work (my SO is so going to lecture me to death for this) and I can't wait to try them all out.

My hair actually gets to the top of my back in a high ponytail rather than my neck. It's probably been long enough for a while but I haven't been paying attention. I've also noticed that my high ponytails are a lot higher than they used to be.
And my boyfriend lays on my sleep braids. I'm used to having to control my hair when it's loose but the realisation that the braids could be dangerous too was new.
I'm a couple of inches from waist

Okay, I couldn't do a french twist (might be because my hair is so slippery) but I have now one clip holding something that looks like messy beacock twist. I like this.

I just realised I've hit another mini-milestone: my claw clip can no longer hold my hair in place properly. It either pulls or sags. I'm not sure whether to go "yay!" or not.

I learned a log roll, a figure eight bun and an infinity bun *and* put them in my hair and they worked! Three new ways to wear my hair!

I measured last night and discovered that I have achieved a 20 inch taper with my hair in the back. This is the first length mini-milestone that I set when I decided to grow my hair. I want more of my hair at 20 inches before I call myself 20 inches.
