It occurred to me today to pull my curl down and see if my hair reaches collarbone yet...and lo and behold, it does! Next milestone: armpit length. Which will probably take six months or more. I need a hefty dose of patience!

I have outgrown my clippies. My hair is now too long and too thick. I have to upgrade to bigger clippies. I couldnt wait to post this!

I have been braiding my hair from the crown and clipping it on the top of my head when I sleep and now there is just too much hair to do that and the clippies dont hold. A long time ago I got one of those magic wrap things and never used it. Last night I used it on top of my head to sleep in and it worked like a charm! It so great when you finally find a use for a hairtoy that you have had laying around for years!!

My hair lays in my jacket hood now!

Plus I have to lift it out from under any shirt I wear. It's a start.

My stretched braid finally comes down to BSL..no matter that my actual hair is a little past WL. Can't wait until the braid is down to WL (meaning my hair would have to be past HL).

I dyed my hair way too much this summer (am now officially sworn off lightening my naturally honey light brown hair) and about a month ago, I literally SHAVED a section of my hair (right by my hairline unfortunately) because that area suffered awful frying/bleaching and therefore damage. Until a few days ago, it would only 'stick up' straight (think boy hair that stands on end) but now it can fold down, and is about an inch long. This will be quite a process, but it's a start

OK, so I think I'm a bit slow to understand that the longer part of my hair (it's layered) is actually at shoulder length when I pull out the curl. HOORAY!
