The Mini-Milestone Thread

Last month I cut off all my hair to just brushing my shoulder's, now it's already only half an inch from my armpit crease! That measurement is from the front of my body.

One of the styles I'm really looking forward to having enough length to do is a coronet braid, or a fake crown braid. Last night I realised my braid now wraps three quarters of the way round my head! If you include the tassel, it's very nearly there, but that's just up to the hairtie. Getting there slowly.

I cut off my strong v hemline last Febuary [3 inches] to get a straight across blunt hem and it's now surpassed my previous length by quite a bit.Yay!!

Realized the other day that braiding straight down my back is becoming uncomfortable! It's not yet long enough to bring forward over my shoulder to braid, but hopefully soon

Two things taht tell me my hair has grown:

1. I've known from looking that I'm getting past BSL by a little bit, but now if I don't have a shirt on, I can feel my ends brushing me BELOW my bra.

2. I'm braiding my hair, not really paying attention because it's a pretty automatic motion, and I've been going on until I think I should be nearly done, and then I look and there are a few more inches to go.

I let my hair down from a bun and it went "thud" on the back of the sofa!

I've figured out how to make myself have a good hair day! My hair now, after a whole day and biking to and from class in the heat, looks as good as it usually does in the morning.

(Okay, so it's not a length milestone, but it's totally a milestone)

I've given up my fear of oils completely and added it to as many parts of my haircare routine as possible.

My hair has soaked up every drop and now is as silky as I ever remember it being. Major win.

I'm so close to waist. And, my curls are recovering from henna!

I have a couple of things so far. I noticed the shedding of my hair more when I showered Sunday. I had rather sizable length hairs wrapped all around my wrist and shampoo bottles. Never have I seen that much hair get all over me in the shower. I better start watching it or I am going to have clogged drain. The adjustable rope chain that I attach my badge to at work got caught in my collar length hair while resting around my neck. The only time this ever happens in the past is when I am taking it on and off.
