Lush Caca users? Advice please....

Hi folks.

Although Lush Caca gets mixed reviews, I must say I LOVE it. I love the colour, the smell, shine and glossiness. I normally mix rouge/noir. This gives me a nice dark auburn/cherry colour. My problem is that I am going away this weekend and really need to Henna my hair either today or tomorrow but I only have Caca noir left. (I don't have a Lush in my town).

What I would like to know from experienced Caca users is what colour would my hair be if I only used Caca Noir over my dark red hair? Will it go jet black? Or maybe just a deeper red? I don't mind going slightly darker, but I don't want to go very black. Any ideas?

It would be really hard to say how that would come out on your hair, you'd need to do a strand test to get an accurate answer. If I were you, I wouldn't risk it. It's hard to make too-dark hennaed hair lighter.

Is there any chance you could go on the Lush website and order a block of rouge with next day delivery?

When Ive used Noir in the past its been pretty good at getting my hair very close to black.

I wouldnt risk it making your colour too dark if your happy with your cherry colour. Lush does seem to fade more than regular henna but you might not get the colour you like back again.

Well, I get dark brown with lush noir over regular henna.

Thanks Upside down, thats the colour I was hoping for. I will do a strand test and cross my fingers. I just think its hard to tell what an overall effect will be on a few strands of hair. If you know what I mean.

Just to update. I threw caution to the wind and put a Caca Noir on for about 1 hour (usually do about 2-3). It has indeed left me with a nice dark brown colour which I'm really pleased with. Very shiny!! Thanks for your help.
