2.6 inches currently, but some amount of hair (at the temples and from the starting hairline) still not reaching the pony tail. So I hope can reach 3 finally.
Btw, it's UNDER 8 inches, so on purely logic way I could choose that option too )))))

Oh dear, is 7 inches circ. ponytail really exists? That hair must be gorgeous and beautiful! ()
I will start reading your blog, because interested to your hair care routine, and also your 'trip' to long
I'm almost in the same boat (at least the beginning is the same), decided at 36 that will give a try to long hair, before that I thought my hair type is not fits for it(extra straight + mixed hair: some normal strands and lots of extra fine ones - I hated it until my 30s)
Was so happy to read your story!
My pony is about 3.5, but will be thicker when bangs grow out.
Mine is 3.8 inches.
I'm hoping with proper care and remembering to actually take my vitamins, I can get back to 4 inches eventually. I used to have crazy thick hair when I was little, but as I aged and grew my hair longer it thinned out quite a bit.
I measured my hair with a strip of fabric and measured that with a tape measure and it was 4.5 inches.
and I thought I had a lot of hair. Just HOW do people have more than even 5-6 inches?! Wow!
I can't put my hair in a full ponytail, because a lot of strands are too short and keep getting away, but i'd say it's somewhere around 3 inches...
My ponytail is 3'' but my bangs themselves are another inch! I always considered myself to have thin hair, but then I learned that 2.5'' or more is medium thickness. I think it's cause I have thin strands and a lot of hair. It looks thinner the longer it gets, but I personally like the aesthetic of long, semi-thin hair.
