Amla experiences?

Was that after washing or do you just amla+co as a wash?

I did a shampoo first, and then used the condish mixed with Amla.

My personal experience with an amla treatment was not good.
I tried because I am experimenting with indian herbs on my hair.
I mixed amla with hot water and waited 2 hours before applying it into my washed towel dried hair.I left it on for 1 hour.
The thing I did not like was that my hair was too frizzy right after drying it,and maybe a little dry.
Maybe I had to add some honey or coconut oil....
