New Suave Almond and Shea butter

Stopped in at Wal-Mart this evening and noticed Suave had new hair products out. I picked up Almond & Shea butter shampoo and conditioner. On the bottle it says with 100% natural almond and shea butter salon proven to moisturize as well as Aveda, smells really nice. Here are some of the ingredients sweet almond oil, shea butter, aloe barbadensis leaf juice, jojoba seed oil, lemongrass, rosemary leaf oil and the list goes on. The other new shampoo and conditioner said something about mint, did not have time to really look at but I know it's new also. I hope they come out with new styling products also. Well just wanted to let you gals and guys know.

Nope, not cone free. I received a full size bottle of the new Almond and Shea Butter shampoo in the mail as a freebie. (Signed up for it a month ago or more but I forgot where..those deals usually fall through so I was surprised when it arrived!) Anyhow, the Almond & Shea shampoo smells nice and seems gentle enough but not something I would buy, due to the cones. I like cones; I just don't like them in my shampoo because I go through cone vs no cone CO phases and if cones are in my weekly shampoo it messes with my system. I will happily use the free bottle though.

I got one too. I really wish they had sent the conditioner though. The shampoo is SLS based which I'm almost certain will not work for me, but I have my fingers crossed. I really do like the smell.

Too bad it doesn't sound like they brought back Milk n' Honey as a scent. It was one of my favorites. ;(
