Sounds great. If I were you, I would warm it up just a little bit and soak my hair in it.
I have a half jar of coconut milk in my fridge. I was wondering if anyone's tried a rinse of some sort and the results of such a rinse. I'm gonna do my henna, and was thinking about using the milk. What do you think? Will it mess with the dye release?
Additional info:
My hair loves protein, and pretty much anything Coconut related.

I don't know how the coconut milk will affect the henna dye release but coconut milk soaks on their own are great for the hair!!

I've used coconut milk as a rinse after hennaing. It didn't affect the dye at all in my case.
I like mixing 1/4 cup coconut milk, 1/4 cup suave cone free conditioner, and 1/4 cup honey and then leaving it on my hair for around an hour. It leaves it so soft and moisturized!
Ok so you use honey in that, how do you get honey to work through hair/ I mean it is sooo think I cant imagine it being on my hiar, much less rinsing out, please help me with this!

I've used coconut milk once, and it defiantely must have imparted some protein- my hair responded as it does to protein treatments. This was on hennaed hair and it had no ill effects. Only thing was that it was quite messy...the above ideas of mixing with honey or conditioner are worth looking into.
There's an article by a moderator on using coconut milk for conditioning... I can't remember her name, something with a D.. she's the one that came up with a braid and it's named after her... lol I'm no help am I
I don't know if it will interfere with the dye release (I have super-dark hair and the henna doesn't show up to well anyway) but I mixed the coconut milk with henna and my hair was SUPER soft. It was great.
