I've used it but like a few other posters have already said, I like Rainbow much better. I've never ordered BAQ because I've had good luck with Rainbow and have only ever used it to cover my grays with brown.
I used it the first time I henna'd... it was okay, but it did fade... I switched to Rainbow Henna and like it much better. I haven't tried the "pure" stuff online yet.......
Am FINALLY at waist (note to self, update siggy pic)... To maintain or to not maintain (keep growing).... that is now the question

Don't ever use henna and count on it fading. Even though Rainbow and Light Mountain aren't pure, and are therefore more likely to fade, don't count on it. Henna is as a general rule very, very permanent, so if it doesn't fade and you try and get rid of it it will not work.

In praise of Light Mountain Red & Bright Red: I am reviving this old thread to add my voice to it. I have been using henna for about 15 years, and for much of that time only using Light Mountain Red & Bright Red. It stains very well and the red is a true redhead color. The bright red is very bright and less dark rust colored. I have used many of the BAQ brands to see if it was any better, and I have found it really isn't in color for many of the BAQ brands. The sift is much finer in BAQ brands, I will give it that. I have found Light Mountain to be very reliable, providing a rich rusty red every time I use it. It is also organic which is important to me. I cannot attest to the other colors in their range, but I do know they only use three ingredients for their whole line, and all organic: cassia, indigo and henna. So this post is for those seeking an alternative & very experienced opinion on this subject.

I've had great results with their Red color. It looks gorgeous in person and is so bright and beautiful. It's also a wonderful conditioner and made my hair very shiny and smooth. I highly recommend it. Also, you can't beat the price!

Long hair hiatus: short hair for now, buzzcut!
I used LMH when I was recovering from bleaching my whole head. This is the only brand I've ever used so keep that in mind:
It was a huge pain in the butt to remove from my hair, I still had sandy bits on my scalp for a week. But it did a great job covering up my bleach. I did two applications of henna over the course of about 2 or 3 months and actually managed to achieve the exact color of my roots. (this was pure luck, however.) It also covered the bleach in one go, but I wanted to do a second application for it's benefits to the hair. Speaking of which, It did a great job helping to "repair" my hair (well, salvage might be a better word) it felt soft and the color was even and stuck around until I decided to throw some special effects purple over it. (:
I will say it turned my hair a BIT green, really only noticeable in the light but I know it's because my hair had been bleached.
I just used it and found it gave a great stain in less than two hours, I didnt find it any harder to get out of my hair than my usual BAQ stuff and it's only henna/organic, so I doubt they use metalic salts or any other stuff, it's just henna. I do use my shower setting on a high pressure setting after I mermaid soak, to get those bits off my scalp, but I have to do that with BAQ henna as well, or I find dry pieces stuck to my scalp two days later.
