Yeah, I think I called 2a on this texture, once before. So the typing is OK! Sorry to bother you about this!

You can however, plump it up quite a bit!

    Yes totally :-)
A bit confused about the thickness of the strand. It can behave both as fine to medium or coarse .
Yesterday I put my whole fridge in my henna, lol.
As in sour cream - we can find natural one, from the farms. I also tossed a tbsp of rice vinegar, a lemon, black tea, a bit of castor oil, a bit of olive oil
My hair is more on the coarse side today , I suspect the proteins in the cream.
    Oh well ...
So yes, I can totally fluff it if I want to.
In fact, if I am wearing it down, wurls are the only option. It is not too thick of a mane to wear it stright, it doesn't look right.

Gosh, I haven't peeked in here since January....so many pretty wurls and curls among you

I ordered more rosewater and glycerin today; a warm day with a bit of moisture today reminded me to stock up when post shampoo I had my usual 'curl explosion'

The Biosilk Lite Serum is amazing too in cold or humid weather

I am so pleased to have found my Holy Grail products for taming dryness and frizz while refreshing my wurls no matter the texture of the day.

Yesterday it was cold and dry and I was 1C sleek....today I am welcoming Spring as a 2C POODLE...and I love it

Happy growing ladies ~ show off those beautiful wurls proudly

Interesting. Does this tame the frizz? The rosewater I find here has alcohol in it so I wouldn't put it in my hair. But I guess I could make my own

The Heritage brand does not have alcohol in it.

    It tames MY frizz...YMMV

I spritz and scrunch and curls are refreshed/defined.

It is great for the body too, and I use it on bed linens....and I add essential rose oil to boost the fragrance

I think you found it. I'd either hop between the wavy/wurly & wurly/curly threads. There's plenty to be learnt from both; but I'll do a search for you on a specific thread; hold on.

The only thing I could find is an archived thread:
    http://forums.longhaircommunity.com/...p/t-26387.html

So might be able to start a new one there!

Hey there...long time no see I have been MIA the past 2 months detaching from the internet to focus on life...in between health appts

But when I was away my hair GREW and I am now brushing BCL and should be there solidly by Christmas
I 'thought' HIP was my final goal....but we all know what happens when the LHC bug bites you

As it turns out, I am mostly silver now and it is so fine and wispy it has made longer lengths easier to handle, whereas the darker hair was heavier and actually caused me pain....so YAY :CHEER: but BCL will be IT and I will continue to do monthly dusting of racers and seasonal hemline maintenance trims.

Here and Here are my post shampoo 2c curl explosions and poof; in humidity the spirals really pop!

In dry air I am 1c sleek...and wavy depending on styling

Take good care until we meet again; thanks so much for all your help as I transitioned from layers to one length and long.... and into curly girl mode the past 5 years

Groovy Granny I'm sad to see you go as I just barely found you and we seem to have similar hair. I certainly understand though. Life, health and family come far ahead of online. I wish you well.
