Faerie knots are sooo knot my friends
Well I'm on a long amd patient mssion to grow out my curls and keep them red, and after one last cut to remove bomb proof indigo at my ends, I've decided to make it a point to pamper my hair. Last night before bed, I wet my hair, towel dried it, put in some cnditioner, pinned my hair up and slept in it. I rinsed it in the shower, and hair was tangle free for once and so soft! Going to make it a nightly routine to avoid breakage and frizz.
Anyone do this?
I also got a different hair brush. I think mine was breaking my hair, hence all the frizz.
And I found my new hold grail product... Organix Macadamia Oil. Amazing!!! Smells like heaven too. My curls haven't been this defined and frizz-free in years!!!!

By the way, according to you, are my curls a 3a or a 3b?

I've started putting my hair up at night too, and sleeping on a cheap satin pillowcase, and I think it's definitely reduced my hair tangles. I never wet my hair before bed, because in the past (when I wore my hair down) it increased frizz and breakage, but I put my dry hair up in any bun with hairpins or spin pins in the back of my head, and mostly sleep on my side, though I'm a tosser. Sleep hats never stay on my head. I think the satin makes a difference too, because every so often I sleep on a cotton pillowcase and the frizz increases. I don't know what kind of satin it is, I just got the cheapest thing on Amazon. I rarely have tangles now.
@holly: i just did my normal co routine, then after mixed AVG and 3 drops of EVOO on wet hair just to see (not as a DT or anything). It turned out very fluffy, not sure if it's something I would do again. Maybe if I wanted lots of volume that day.
@magic: I think you look 3a. It was hard to see the top, are you 2c up there? Or does it stay 3a up there too?

My curls are the same on the top as on the bottom.
