Kinda late to be checking in but hi, I'm curly too I usually twist each of my curls to get them really defined and frizz free but naturally I have a whole bunch of differing types of curls on my head!

Goal met and exceeded, now what?
I have curly virgin hair which is currently tailbone length un-stretched.

Hi, I'm just dropping in to share my joy with CHEESE!!!

My curls are coming back! More and more every day!! The canopy is starting to curl again as well...there's still a ways to go, and damage to trim off, but...

Curlies, how do you oil your hair? My hair does not react well to pressing the hair with the hands and sliding them down the hair. Any advice?

Sometimes I emulsify the oil in my hands and gently scrunch it in on dry hair..otherwise on wet hair, I smooth it in like you mentioned.

I've gotten some nicer curls lately mixing a bit of oil w/ some aloe gel. It seems to help distribute it more evenly throughout my hair.

Thanks! I just saw heidi w's video on YouTube and she suggested curlies use a mister bottle of oil and something else (like water a guess) to dilute it and spray on wet curls. I think this might work well for me because touching my hair causes it to frizz insanely

For hair that I'm going to wear down, I add a few drops of oil to my leave-in conditioner and add them both at the same time.

For hair I'm going to braid or wear up, it doesn't matter how I apply it, so I just oil up my hands, drag through, then brush and style as desired.

I don't oil dry hair that I'm wanting to wear down and curly.

I'm just not ready to be a Renegray yet!
