By the way, you guys can already post pictures. You need to put those up in a website like photobucket and link to them though. I think the 25 posts is for looking at members' albums, not for posting pictures.
Sunshineliz, thank you! I think my hair is very similar to Darksky's anyway.
Blk Praise Angel, whatever you prefer.... I wasn't suggesting a trimming but search and destroy. Just looking at the ends of your hair, if they look like they are split in half, you can cut the split part off.
A lot of people don't even do that. I grew my hair waist length a couple times before, and I never even knew what a split end was. I must have had a lot, I just didn't know about it. Just wondering why your hair never grew very long with minimal trimming, in 46 years... I don't know...

I understand Emelnd, but my hair does grow it just seem to be stuck at about shoulder length now that I am taking care of it regularly which I wasn't doing before. I have been natural for about 5 years but its only within the last year that I have decided to really take care of it. I started using the conditioner method from the book Curly Like Me and just purchase the book Curly Girl - the Handbook.
I don't know how to re-size pictures to post. That seem liked alot of work like searching for splitends LOL.
GRU, is the re-sizing for the profile pix or for posting to threads? I'm confused on that. Also what size should the picture be? Thanx.
Resizing probably needs to be done for profile pictures since their maximum is 400x400. But for photos in threads there is no maximum, though it's nice to upload pictures that aren't too big (so they don't take up all the thread, and you can see them properly). HTH.
Thank you everyone for the compliments!
So... maybe this is the wrong place to say this, but I'm trying to find ways to naturally dry my hair straighter. Not because I don't love my curls, of course I do, but you know some days you just want to change things up. Anyway, I found I can get the top half very straight by putting it up in a ponytail of bun, but I couldn't get the lower half (even trying a kind of snail bun, it still went BOOM). It doesn't have to be perfectly straight, but you know I'd be happy with 1c/2aish. Anyone have any tips?

Thanks Springlets, so its only the profile pix that has to be re-size.
This post is my 25th post, Yea!
Ooh thanks Gru, I will definitely check those out.
