It seems.....easier. Like, all I have to do is pineapple it at night, then let it down during the day, maybe tug on the ends to pull out any sheds.

I also like that there's no frizz...at least in the sense of the frizz I used to experience, which was really just curly hair fighting being straight.

And I got my first real almost stranger compliment on it the other day. One of the preschool teachers told me my hair was gorgeous and she used to pay to have hers look like that (perm). That felt nice
That's awesome! I'm glad you got a nice compliment too. Self acceptance of whatever hair one is wearing is prime, but compliments can't hurt.

The frizz comment is interesting, but not uncommon. Lots of people think their hair is difficult and frizzy when it's really wavier or curlier than the person thought.

Yeah, the shower sheds can be amazing...

I know. I'm tempted to photograph my hair gerbils and post them in threads where people are concerned about losing 15 hairs. LOL. They just have no concept!

I have always been a heavy shedder though. I could never figure out why I still had any hair left attached to my head

Lol, like this - what happens when you (general you) go a week without cleaning your detangling comb?

ETA: I took that pic when shed comments were made over at nc, and people were wondering if their own was normal or if it was too much.

I figured if I can produce that big furball and still have the amount of hair I do, then maybe others would worry less about shower sheds.

honestly, that's pretty helpful. I thought I might be going bald. I haven't checked, but that looks like what I'd pull out of my comb if I hadn't cleaned.

I'm ocd about checking the shower drain, hate having to unclog it, especially if I have to use chemicals, so I yank everything out.

I used to be like that, but I've switched shampoos to sulfate-free, and I'm one of those fifteen hair people again... (sort of. More like twenty, down from fifty to eighty, though.)

    I don't use sulfates. I'm just a shedder, lol.

Hahaha, I know, I know. XD I'm not saying "oh you should switch to sulfates", I'm saying "that's how I used to be, but I'm sure you hate me now... >.> "

Oh, durrr, sorry, I totally misread that. I thought you were just trying to make a suggestion.

I'd be more worried if my hair was super thin, but since I still have enough, the hairballs are more of an annoyance. I hate when I let them go for a week in the comb because I can't pull them out of the comb at that point. I have to cut them out.
