All these short sticks in the shop lately. It's killin' me. Finally caved yesterday to an AB stick with blue FWP. My justification is that I have a gorgeous dark stick with blue embellishment that's just too big for me. One of several that will be on swap someday. And now there's a pretty cocobolo one in the shop with gold FWP. DH said, "That's pretty," then saw the look of horror on my face - since I just bought a stick yesterday, and he corrected himself and said, "Oh no, I don't like that one".

It's amazing how well we long-hairs manage to 'train' our significant others in the ways of hair toys!

Does anyone know if Doug is taking "from scratch" customs? There is a design I've been wanting for years, but it isn't a simple "plug in my favorite materials" project.

I know last year he said he was too busy for it, but I wonder if he is now?

Eventually, I'd want 3 sticks on the theme, so it wouldn't be a complete waste of time.....

CurlyCap, my music stick that he made a few weeks ago was a "from scratch" design. Unless something changed very recently, he's currently offering them. I'd get my name on the list asap, though, because his customs policies can and do change without much warning!
