Are there any knock-offs as of yet? I desperately want one, but $5 is my absolute max for hair toys, no matter how fantastic they may be
I hate to say it, but in some cases it is better to have one really good hair toy than 4 bad ones, in terms of how well they hold and how much damage they do.
Change is the only constant.
I know, but I don't buy hair toys. Ever. So, I'm not wasting my money on cheapies, either
I've seen them at craft fairs in California. If you contact them, they will give you a list of fairs that they will be attending. They do a deal at the fairs too; $25 for 2 was the going deal at the one I attended.
I really do think it's worth it to pay a bit more and get a quality piece. They truly aren't that expensive, and they won't break without serious effort, in my opinion.
Yes they do the Clay County Fair in Iowa. If you are ever here in September. They demo them and you can try on any that you like. They usually have some kind of a "fair special" too. There may be some knock offs out there but I've never seen any.
