My hair is currently 18.5" in length! I have 6" to go before I hit BSL!!!

Hi!
I'm pretty sure that I belong here-my hair is mostly shoulder length in back, layers a little shorter in the front. My next goal is either APL or SL, because on me they're pretty close to each other!
I'm still a real newbie, but I'm hoping to get some pics soon!

Hey I thought I'd share the results of step 1 of my SL to APL plan! I had my hair dyed red today, in preparation for switching to henna from bleach. Here is a couple of pictures. Sorry about the quality - I now have renewed respect for all those photos that aren't blurred and show true colour! Not one I took properly shows the bright red!

I also just graduated from the super shorties thread. It's been a week that I've been hanging in this thread, and so far my first impression is that people in here seem to be less friendly or less talkative. I'll be the first to greet you and Lunamummy into this thread. I hope I could at least have a buddy in this thread who I know will chime in any of my post and reply to my posts, and the same goes for me to you (or anyone who just started joining this thread). My guess is that a lot of people in this thread is so close to reaching APL that they are almost about to graduate, so us newbies in this thread gotta stick with one another.

I believe you use the towel test: you put a towel under your arms, around your back and if your hair touches the towel, you've got APL
Routine for my dyed mid back length hair: shampoo and condition twice a week, with Alterna Kendi Dry Oil Spray all over and shea butter on ends and lightly on length as leave-ins on wet hair, and blow dried with a Sedu on low heat

I just want to know how I'm supposed to get here if my hair just keeps flipping up and up instead of brushing my shoulder?
