About every three days these days... sometimes more if I can handle my own grossness and don't expect to be going anywhere.

Usually it's about every third day. Not really because my hair needs it, but I think it feels nice.

I would like to stretch washings a bit more, but my hair gets so tangly that I need to get it wet and detangle in the shower every other day. So I do a complete conditioner-only wash every other day.

Usually every 2-3 days. I voted 2 because sometimes I'll wash 2 days in a row if I've been swimming or exercising.... it probably averages every other day or so.

It really needs washed every day... but this past week I've been trying to cut that down to every other day by using a little cornflour as a dry shampoo and wearing it up, in the hope that it'll get used to less frequent washings!

Wash Mon/Wed/Fri

Wash Tues/Thurs/Sat
Of course, under extraneous circumstances I will wash if I need to. But I pretty much stick to that. I don't do a lot over the weekend, usually, so my hair stays looking okay.

I voted other because I only wash my hair whenever it feels like it needs a wash. Usually 2 times a week and sometimes 3.

I voted every 8 days for although I'm trying to go as long as possible between washes - so far the longest I've managed has been 2 weeks - I find there is a point where I just can't cope with it not feeling as fresh as I'd like it to be. A large proportion of my life has been spent lying in the bath - one of my favourite places I'm afraid - so the idea of unwashed hair is alien to me. However, a major problem all my life has been that whenever I shampoo I end up shedding. A lot. Every type of shampoo on the market has been used by me - all with the same effect. Obviously the problem lies in how I apply it to my scalp, maybe I'm massaging it the wrong way.
Anyway, in order to lessen the amount of hair I lose through shampooing I decided to shampoo as little as possible. It's working. I can actually see how the thickness of my hair has improved.

I voted once per week... but really by the 6th day, my scalp is pretty darn greasy sometimes. I've been experimenting a lot with different things and so it seems to vary when my hair needs to be washed (I don't use shampoo, just herbs). Ideally I want to find the right herbs and oils (and the right proportions) so that my hair can hold off pretty well for exactly a week (er,that's because I prefer to wash my hair when I have more time on my day off) .
