Do you tuck your hair behind your ears?

I tuck my hair for two reasons:

1) It was drilled into me by my mother. I use to never tuck my hair but it got on my mother's nerves so much that she would threaten to cut my hair off if I didn't tuck.

2) Since I am so use to tucking my hair, if it is in my face for too long, I get really hot and then turn red.

Recently I can tuck my bangs behind my ears... I don't like them behind my ears but it's already a habit.

yes all the time!! i can't help it, and because of that my hair has a wierd shape/wave on that area.

I do it by accident sometimes but it looks awful. If my hair is really getting in my face I'll usually braid the part in front to get it out of the way.

Reviving this ancient thread because I've been a perpetual tucker. I'm convinced the hair around my ears has suffered breakage from constant rubbing since it is so much thinner and shorter than the rest of my hair.

I must have sticky-outy ears, because I think I would get more damage if I tried having my hair over my ears actually, especially with my glasses!
