Default Burlesque party tomorrow, how should I wear my hair?

I'm going to party tomorrow night, it's a burlesque party and I'm going to wear a black cocktail dress, fishnet leggings and wear bright red lipstick and have smooky eyes. But, I don't have time to wash my hair and have it dry so I need to put it up, but how? I'm working tomorrow so the style has to be quite easy and not too time consuming as I have to eat, do my makeup and put on my clothes and hopefully be in time to meet up with the other gals. Ideas?

I would try googling hairstyles that Dita Von Teese has worn- she's the Queen of Burlesque! She does a lot of cool 1940's looks- victory rolls, etc. She wears her hair down a lot, but there are some wild updos- like this one:

or maybe something like this?: http://celebrityfashion.yuddy.com/wp..._von_teese.jpg

    Sounds like a fun party!!!

Here's one--you could do the front section as shown, and put the back in a low bun with a big flower. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UdKxk...eature=related

Currently BSL in the back when stretched, and a couple inches shy of BSL in the front. Very basic 3a. No cones. No heat styling.

Could always pony the back, or bun it or something.

Though she kind of irritates me...and amuses me at the same time. @_@ I have no use for this video, yet I watched it anyway.

How about 2 buns on the top of your head, giving you a cute Minnie Mouse burlesque look? Just do a central parting and make a bee butt bun on each side, right on the top of the head. It's burlesque, but still modern and young-looking.

I think this looks best with a blunt fringe/bangs, but I wore it successfully for a party although I'm fringeless!

That one looks like it could be imitated by doing the "giant variation sockbun" on the top and front of the head. I'd give that a shot as a test-run, and if it works, that would be a great quick one to do!

I'm more interested in the "burlesque party!"

How does one host or get invited to one? Egads, I must be out of the burlesque loop. And I've never set my hair on fire.

Well, my boring life ends this instant!
