Vegan protein treatment for hair?

Some of my ends (about 1/2" to 1" inch) are yucky from years of treating it badly. I'd really like to give my ends a little protein boost, but I'm having a hard time finding ideas that are vegan. Does anyone have any insight on anything I can use?

You can use any of those as a daily conditioner (ends only!) or a deep conditioning treatment. I've really, really benefitted from the Giovanni Nutrafix. Hope that helps.

Joico conditioners use human hair keratin... not sure if you would consider that okay or not.

HeatherDazy, thanks for the info! For the record, I'd use something that contain keratin from a consenting human, so that's good to hear about that condish!

I've actually been thinking of trying it... I have a can at home waiting on it.

I just don't know if my hair will like the protein!!

put it on, and put it up in a shower cap or a plastic bag and just let it soak in I loved it when I did it.
