When your DBF tells you that he found your hair everywhere in his parents' house, and you haven't been there in a month.
When you're walking down the street and you see your reflex on a shop window and you think "awww that girl has relly long hair!" before realizing it's yourself. Am I the only one?

When your stray shed hairs get between your toes in bed, and simply trapping the, under your other foot and moving your feet away from each other no longer solves the problem!

I HATE hairs between my toes, and now have to remove them manually! I try really hard to keep sheds out of the bed, but one or 2 still creep in.

I often end up finding stray hairs deep within my socks, wrapping themselves around my toes. I also hate the feeling. It's less of a problem now that I'm careful about gathering up my sheds when I spot them.

When you were braiding your hair before it became a trend.

When you get an unexpected last paycheck from your former boss, and the first things you think of buying are 1) your shampoo base (Dr. Bronner's for me), 2) hair oils, and 3) tea for hair growth.

ETA: You know you're a longhair growing out a pixie cut when you think you'll be happy at shoulder length, and once you get there it's still too short! WAAAAAAAY too short!

Definitely not. I take a minute to recognize myself in windows, mirrors, or photos when my hair is down because apparently, my hair looks a LOT longer than it feels. That's thick and wavy hair for you; twice the problems and half of the benefits.

I also like looking at my shadow whenever it's sunny, because Shadow-Me's hair is a LOT swishier than mine. XD

I also like shadow me's hair.

I'm not a long hair (I'm a little below BSL) but when your hair gets caught between your back and your chair and you almost rip your head off.
