You're about to leave for the emergency department and while you're worried about your health you still manage to worry about whether you're hair is in a suitable style for a potentially long hospital visit - and then insist on a comb and hair ties to be brought along so you can put it into said hairstyle.

You've finally decided to figure out your natural hair type, after 5 years of planning.

Now I'm sitting in my apartment and waiting the hair to dry. The feeling of long wet hair in my back is disgusting but I have to just wait. Blah, this will take hours.

Usually I towel gently my hair and hair is something like dry in two hours.

This is more of a you know you're hair-obsessed when...

You're at the symphony and this amazing kid, Nobuyuki Tsujii, who is just barely into his twenties if I'm doing my math right, is doing just a technically virtuosic, emotionally passionate rendition of Rachmaninoff's 2nd piano concerto, one of your favourite pieces EVER...

...and you can't stop watching how the shine moves around in his hair when he moves his head. And being envious of the hair at least as much as the piano playing.
