    Anyone have any that they have had hanging around for ages? I have had the same one since the 6th grade, and it just occurred to me that I would like a few more.

    I'm not much help, but I saw one at a Claire's the other day!
    One of the better things to come out of the '80s.
    (I'm secretly waiting to point and laugh when I see wide shoulder pads!)

    How do you wear them? They seem too wide to be able to contain hair securely....

    I second redbark's question. I had one of these years ago, and I was never able to get it to stay in place for more than 10 seconds.

    Hey katharine and redbark! They seem to work best on fairly thick, specifically curly hair. I know that someone else had posted this and I noticed that on a former thread that the only gals who could tollerate the thing had such hair. If it's any consolation...when I take it out, although I love the look during the day...my hair feels like it's been pulled as though it's been on the rack! So..I wear it only for brief periods. HTH clear things up.

    I will post some how-to picks today I used to put them in wrong...and they fell out. I love the look when I take it off. My hair is HUUUUGE! I like keep it like that for evenings...big sexy hair.

    I buy mine at Wal Mart & K Mart. Not much variety in the way of colors... but then, my hair always totally covers them up when I wear them anyway so colors don't matter to me.
