The Nocti IS heavier, but it doesn't bother me. That being said, I think I'd totally suggest an Avalon. I love mine. And it really does hold amazingly. I have gotten rid of things because they were too heavy, but the little weight on tusks doesn't bother me at all for some reason.
I would sugget first the Mini Size (I tried one and it was much better than the regular size). And a more lighter wood like mimosa or Holly. Ebony could be too heavy especially if you have a stone on the top. There Are also different stones. Some Millimeters can change a lot here. Don't take a big stone. 3 cm should be enough for the longest side.

Does anyone here have a 4 prong dragon claw tusk? Iīm severly tempted by this one but would very much like to hear how this style works for people.

My first ever Grahtoe Fork ! - have been lusting after these for a while - bought with the 20% off code a couple of months back & finally have an action shot.

I don't know if this link will work...? but here it is https://www.etsy.com/transaction/1255429943

I really love this fork - it holds like a boss! I have 7 different snaps too - the turtle is my favorite.

Hey! This one is now living happily at my home and I really love it. I have fine/thin hair and my bun is small. It holds really well, it doesn't feel heavy because the weight is well distributed and this wood I think is on the lightweight side too. I love how it makes my bun look fluffier/bigger. If you have any specific questions feel free to ask
