My Grahtoe studio Maple fork is coming in the mail. This thread might be short but it is potent for enabling some fork envy.

I can't wait to see yours. I really like the maple ones.

    So here's mine:

I have to say it's larger than I thought it would be but I decided I love it anyway. It might just take a little time for me to get used to the size...and I will need to remember never to plece it in a cinnamon bun - it reall makes my bun look small!

Here's it next to a wee shell (and plaese bear in mind my Grahtoe is a "slimline" - one of their smaller pieces...):

You have got to be kidding-- your bun looks huge! Wow!

That really looks nice, but with my actually petite bun, I think it would be too much for me. Plus, I've got enough enabling to last for many months (since I'm on a hairtoy hiatus until I sell some... and, er, save more).

hmm, that it probably because one picture is a sock bun..., the other one is an angel-bun (that makes quite a lot of optical volume, too).

Thank you very much for your compliments, though.

They have some new smaller forks on their site now!! They are soooo cute...the new style is "lilliputian"....just thought I'd share. I have my eye on a couple of them already .

I have to say that I didn't like my GrahtoeStudio fork, at first. I purchased a custom 4 prong with 5" tines and when I got the fork it was huge and heavy.. looked like something out of the Flintstones. But their customer service is excellent, and I was able to send back my custom fork for a full refund (minus return shipping).

Then today, out of nowhere, a package from GrahtoeStudio arrives in the mail. Enclosed is a fork (same design and wood as my custom) from the new lillipution collection and a note saying that my constructive criticism of the first fork inspired the line. Well... that was unexpected! The lillipution fork is sorta small, but with all the weight of these forks (because they truly are Flintstone sized in width and thickness) I prefer the smaller fork.

Here is a pic of my free fork in a celtic knot bun:

    How cool is that?!

Wow, all these forks look great. If I bought one now I'd have some time to wait until my hair was long enough to use it though. Bookmarked for that day, though.
