    Default ShowerStick - Water Softener?

I keep hearing that soft water is SO much better for your hair and skin. I was looking into water softeners for the whole house and they are REALLY expensive. Then I came across one that is just for your shower. It seems like a good alternative and much more affordable. Anyone have one of these "ShowerSticks"? If so, I love your feedback/review. Here's the link to the item in question.

    Thanks!

I was doing a search on water softener systems and found your question.
    Im curious too.
    anyone have this?

Think it may be worth it jut to pay the extra $200 for the whole house
and get rid of the ring in the toilet, kill two birds and all that?

I had my hair done at the salon the other day, and Im sure it was
the softness of the water that made my hair just wonderful.
It felt like it was flat ironed and all I did was blow dry it a little.
    *sigh*
