    Default Dr. Bronner's for shampoo?

I've been reading about WO, CO and sulfate/cone free methods (trying to figure out my own hair and what it wants) and I was just wondering if anyone has used Dr. Bonner's for shampooing their hair and if so, what was your experience? Good? Bad?

I have used Dr. Bonner's off and on for the past couple of years. You just need to think it and it works pretty well. I still use and need conditioner, but it does work, although I am loving using Baking Soda right now, my hair is softer using it and ACV than it was with the Dr. Bonner's. But it does work, at least it does for some.

Aaaack! I tried it and I'll never go near it again It made my hair a sticky, gunky, dull mess even with a vinegar rinse. It was as nasty as Aubrey products for me. I read that Dr Bronners could be used for laundry so I tried that. I found directions for using it with borax. Remembering that borax kept baby clothes nice and white I gave it a try. It made everything I washed with it a dingy gray. I can't remember if I pitched it or if it's still lurking around here somewhere. Thumbsdown from me.

Washing with soap makes my hair super-dry and matted.

My sister uses Dr. Bronner's sometimes, but she has shorter hair and just rips through any tangles.

I used the liquid lavender one. It made my hair super greasy and my ends very dry.

I have used Dr, Bronners Peppermint for the last 7 or 8 years with no other shampoo. It rinses out easily and never leaves a buildup. I have to use a conditioner or could not get a comb through it. I feel that is opens up the hair to accept conditioner more readily. I have dry ends, but they seemed to improve while using Dr. Bronners.

I love Dr. Bronner's for washing almost everything except hair. It made it very fragile and tangled. If I were ever going to dread, Dr. Bronner's would probably make a great prep, but otherwise, bad idea.

I tried this. It made my dry, flaky scalp drier and more flaky.
