Am I using my Boar Bristle Right?
So, after hearing all the wonderful things about boar bristle brushes, I dug up my old one and started using it again. I use it when my hair is dry, after I've detangled it, just brushing all the way through from top to bottom. But I've noticed that it makes the hair near my scalp look really greasy and stuck together. I know bbbs are supposed to move the sebum down the hair, but wouldn't that make hair look less greasy, since it's redistributing it? Also, it makes my ends really, really staticky.
Am I using it wrong? Does this happen to other people?
