Default Naked Naturals Shampoo

I was waiting for a prescription in CVS yesterday and was browsing the shampoo aisle when I came across this:

http://www.nakednaturals.com/

It looked pretty good and there is no SLS or no obvious cones that I could tell. I tried it this morning and it did really well. It had a good lather and my hair didnt feel stripped. I like it. I also like that it is accessible in CVS! Has anyone else tried it?

Here are the ingredients:

Water, Sodium Lauroyl Sarcosinate, Sodium Lauroamphoacetate, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, PEG-150 Distearate, Hydrolyzed Vegetable Protein PG-Propyl Silanetriol, Sodium Cocoyl Isethionate, Phenoxyethanol, Hydrosypropyl Bis Hydroxyethyldimonium Chloride, Citrus Grandis Fruit Extract, Polyquaternium-7, Sodium Methyl Cocoyl Taurate, Cocamidopropylamine Oxide, Polyquaternium-10, PEG-45 Palm Kernel Glycerides, Tetrasodium EDTA, Citric Acid, Fragrance

For something natural it does have alot of things I cant pronounce! Maybe someone who knows more about ingredients than I do could give me an idea about it.

It does say alot about the Keravis protein (vegetable protein). It says that studies show that it significantly increases hair strength up to 7x and reduces breakage. Tested against D-Panthenol (provitamin B5) Keravin showed improved hair strength as the level of Keravin was increased as well as in varying humidity. While Panthenol does increase strength, it does not intensify as Keravis does when more is added. Each Naked Naturals shampoo and conditioner was formulated to include 1% natural Keravis for optimum hair strengthening to help give you the strong healthy hair that you desire.

That part sold me and I thought I would give it a shot. So far I like it well enough. Its doesnt feel stripped when I use it like SLS poos do. I still want to give Burts Bees a try. I wasnt thrilled with AO so much and I tried a couple from the Health Food store but those are so darned expensive.

I may be mixed up, but my understanding was that hydrolyzed anything = a "plastic" coating of some type on the hair?...................

I want to try this, esp. the shea/avocado ones! I've read so many raves on another site about this, and I came close to buying them the other day (was shopping in the US - never know what the border will be like, though, so I passed). Hope they're soon in Canada!

I have decided to stop using this. I think that it is either contributing to or causing the major shed I am going through right now. It could be just a spring shed but I am also experiencing alot of itching which usually happens when I have a reaction to something in a product. So, for now its on the shelf! I am back to Dairy Whip.

I used the one for colored treated hair, and I hated it. My hair ran so much the color run off that came off it was outta control, plus I think it made my scalp ithcy.

I used this and loved it. I've been meaning to buy some more, but I've been using the Giovanni's S&C lately.
