    Default Silver Dawn Jewelry Hairforks

    Anyone have anything from here?

I've had them bookmarked for a while, but I just bought one of the wire forks - I was afraid they wouldn't work for me, wire stuff and my hair seemed like it would be a bad mix and had put it off, but I finally got one and I'm SO HAPPY I did! These things are awesome. The tines cross in your hair and secure themselves in and it's pretty great. Not only that but they're pretty inexpensive. So ya know...you can buy more. lol. Want to see action shots if you've gotten some!
Also, just fyi...got some gorgeous earrings in the shop too...

Dammit. I'd managed to gloss over those in my (ahem) etsy feed. Following you is dangerous.

These are really neat! I like how the tines cross at the bottom. Just so I understand, they are quite flexible then? Meaning, once they're in your hair, the tines do that on their own? It looks beautiful in your bun, Aspen

Sigh... thank goodness I'm severely allergic to nickel! (and wouldn't dream of putting something as expensive as silver into my bun)
    Beautiful, though!

They're fairly flexible, yes. Yeah, the tines cross on their own. If you look at a photo of them in the shop, out of hair, you'll see the ends slightly touch or seem to overlap in the pictures. Well when you pull the tines slightly apart to put in your hair, they go into your hair and somewhere near the end of pushing through, they just cross back over each other. It makes them far more secure than I expected. I got one for another person and got mine on a whim because I'd thought they were so pretty, and I kind of didn't expect it to work. lol. But they really do, at least for me. I could see a super thick haired person having a couple as a set or something and them working well. And you can get them from 3" to 6", so those 3" are probably perfect for shorter hairs or as accent pins if you wanted.

@Majorane - Um, Huge thank you!!! That must be a great bun if I can pull off jealousy inducing. lol.

@truepeacenik - My Etsy feed is a bad place. Plus, I tend to get in these weird moods and I just search ya know....Unicorns, so the poor followers then have a million unicorn things pop up in their feed. lol.

    Coolness.
Thank you AspenSong. I like the half-up you did also.
    I'm thinking for me, like a 3" or a 4" would be rad for a half-up...

If it helps any, the fork in the photos is a 4 1/2" I don't need much for my itty buns. lol.
