little_acorn those are gorgeous, I love how they are very slender and *almost blend with your hair.

today I am very excited. my order from bijoux manoel arrived! inspired by isa-belle's salamander pin, I had to have a peek and oh my word... such beautiful things.

I'm determined not to spend any more money on hair things for the next wee while, but how i do love these:

and this was yesterday - pics just in from a band photoshoot, before i got rained on and had to bun it with the quecraft fork. this is just a glittery butterfly clip I bought in a gift shop on cockburn street. its for sticking on the fridge and clipping notes to, but I like it in my hair when I'm being a rock diva :-)

Lazy wrap bun with a custom-made fork in Purple Heart wood (mezzo threnody).

I thought it would come out more purple, but this actually looks even better in my hair as it picks up my burgundy streaks from the henna perfectly.

I'm really surprised she parted with those, Little Acorn, because she was so happy when she bought them. But they definitely look GREAT in your hair.

And you're right about the colour, Isa-belle. It perfectly matches that streak in your hair that shows up so cutely in your bun.

I have to admit, I've fallen off the wagon a bit. I really missed a few of my toys that I'd already used. But I'll be back soon!

Little Acorn, I LOVE that cage on you! I'm not usually a fan of cages becaue you can't see the bun through it. But it looks great on you!

This thread makes me want to buy more hair toys... definately NOT good for those trying to control spending habits!
