Mod hat off. Mod hat on. Don't make me wear the mod hat, it messes up my hair. *grin*

all sorts of awesome has been posted while i've been away! I'm particularly taken with Sterlyn's ONN Blue Pearl sticks and Quasiquixotic's Wood Art Jewelry fork!

day 74: my first 60th Street fork. Sadly i don't think i'll be keeping this one, it's not wide enough for my hair. Maybe a 4 prong will work better?

Aww it is really pretty in your hair. The 4s are about 1/2 a tine smaller than a 4 prong jeter, if that helps.

3 prong 60th is the gap and 1 tine smaller than a 4 prong GVW. THE 4 prong 60th is actually a smidge wider than the 4 prong GVW.

I have this same issue... My 3-prong 60thSt forks look oddly small in my bun, I really don't like it. Will be destashed soon!

Neko, love the hairstyle and the barrettes.

Kelli, the color of that stick looks really great with your hair color.

Hele, what kind of bun are you using with that fork? Maybe a more compact bun might show the fork off better. I think the colors in it are lovely.

not only does it look oddly small it's not holding my hair well enough, plus my hair spits it out, plus plus it just doesn't feel sturdy enough. I'll still try a 4 prong at some point, though it's not like i don't have plenty of forks by other makers that work great for me! Vanilla i have it in a mutant lazy wrap bun, more compact buns are where my hair tends to break things and these 60th Streets just don't feel sturdy enough for my killer hair : /

day 75a: the other 60th Street i got off the swap board. I really like the color of this one but i'll be rehoming it shortly.

day 75b: okay, the 60th Street lasted maybe an hour before i switched to another recent purchase, i LOVE this stick. It's from a new Etsy shop named PerfumeCollectors, if anybody's in the market for thick sticks i recommend this shop highly! It's slightly thicker than an Ead oversize.
