I missed at least one day (maybe two? don't remember) in braids again as I had to have another outpatient procedure due to complications. This is to at least partly explain the horrid pictures - I try once or twice. As long as there is a toy in there I use the pic right now!

On another note, I could totally join this thread now. At first it would have been boring, but now I do have (to my surprise) a month and a half worth of toys to wear. Doesn't take long.
I still can't take photos of the back of my head, though.

i think taking pictures of the back of one's own head is a bit of an art form, it's certainly not something i ever considered doing until i joined this forum. The only method that consistently works for me is to look down and hold the camera over the back of my head. It might not be as scenic as some pictures i see on here but it works. Thanks, Scarlet_Heart! What a gorgeous fishtail braid! I haven't the energy to braid (DD has been doing mine for me), but even when I do, fishtails are hard for me. That one with the flower added is just beautiful!

Kelli what an elegant looking barrette! Question- doesn't your hair tangle from being worn in a pony so much? Or does it not due to hair type? Mine is such a mess if I wear it down, but then it is both fine and wavy.

Thanks Rags. My hair doesn't really tangle too much. Like today, it was nice out so I had the roof on my car open and my hair totally loose and when I got home it was tangled although it was blowing around.

I love Scarlet Heart's fishtail braid and pink is my favorite colour.
I have no idea how this will work out longterm, but I did manage to get a photo of the back of my head myself today. two, out of about ten! So here we go. I'll actually start Saturday, with a photo I posted elsewhere of myself in gabon ebony 4 prong jeterfork for #1. then yesterday, Easter, I wore my hair loose. And today I am wearing a pink ivory 2 prong jeterfork for day #2 in the self-photo I took, which may be the last successful self photo ever. They are both 6 inch jeterforks, which is a little long, but what I find comfortable and the bun is a cinnabun, which is really the only bun I can do comfortably at this point.
