WEO: The "wear all of my toys once" challenge

Everyone has such beautiful hair toys. I love the acorn sticks!

Today I just have boring metal sticks from Japan.

The acorns are fabulous, little acorn! And I like your "boring" sticks, voluspa!

I'm so far behind I don't even know what day I wore things on, so I won't include it.

Monkthemonk gabon ebony butterfly fork, got it off the swap board from gladtobemom, Nautilus bun.


Black Nickel large flexi8, it was rainy and I liked all the little spirals my wisps went into, squished in cinnabun.


Alabaster 5" ketylo (I left it in the sun because it was almost black, but only the blue portions lightened), spidermom's bun that stays.


Quattro 5" flexstix fork, cinnabun.


Pacificmercantile (etsy) some kind of maple stick (tiger maple, maybe? It was a freebie), pinless braided bun.


Small custom flexi-8 with big dragonfly middle and emerald aurora borealis beads, holding a folded English braid (I changed my oil that day and wanted something that fit flat against my head).


Monkthemonk acrylic fork, untwisted cinnabun.


Graydog cocobolo hairstick, hypnobun (today).

Oh my, the hairtoys are so beautiful. I'm up to page 125 in this thread and trying to keep up with the thread since I've posted.

Although I've been good at actually doing the challenge it is hard to find the time to get the pictures.

Today it's a Ron Quattro hairstick in a loosely twisted bun.

Voluspa, are they little forks? How long are they? They're quite intriguing.

Yesterday. Small flexi-8. The baby brother of Chloë's flexi My hair pictures are coming out very dark at the moment. I think (hope) it's the dull weather.

little_acorn~ Thank you! I just used the stick to secure a regular bun then twisted the little forks in the same way ('twisting' them in, kind of..) They get a little wider in the middle which helps hold them in too.

Masara~ Yup, the two on the bottom are little 3.5" forks, and the one on top is about a 5" stick. The little forks are so cute and great for little french twists (which I can just barely still do.)

Some days ago, pair of Quattro forks with cobalt crystals (my bad: I didn't read the description closely enough and had thought from tjhe photo they'd be stainless steel; when they arrived they were bronze, which is pretty, but not what I expected):
