The use of Molasses and Henna?
I've been reading around the boards, and heard that molasses may darken your hair. The question is, how would one DO a molasses treatment, and would it still work with henna in your hair? I'm going for a much darker red than my current, but not too dark and indigo always seems to come out brown for me...

Easily Amused
I haven't put the molasses in my henna mix itself (yet, just give me time lol), but when I do a normal molasses treatment it consists of adding it to my usual rinse of either acv or citric acid. I use a two cup measure with a small glug of acv or sprinkling of citric acid and maybe wo tablespoons of molasses, stirred well. Sometimes I add a drop of rosemary EO. I use the rinse after my shampoo bars.
