Ok I am joining on in! Yay!! I did the no trim last year and ended up gaining 5 inches. I trimmed for the first time yesterday night because is was the new moon. So I am currently at 29 inches. I trimmed off half an inch. It was hard to even do that. I plan on cutting off qtr inches every 3 months. My unltimate goal is to get waist length which for me is about 31 inches. I have a long torso. Ugh.

I had a trim yesterday, although not much to trim

I am at aprox. 31in which is something between BSL and MBL. My waist and my goal is 3, maybe 4 because of waves, inches away.

I just got a good 2-3 inches trim today. It was my first trim in about 9 months, so it feels really good to tidy up my hemline and get one step closing to having a totally blunt hemline. I'm booked in for another app in 8 weeks to trim off the final 2 inches, and then I will be layer free! I grow a solid inch a month, so over the period of the next two months I will essentially be maintaining my current length (tailbone) once the future trims are accounted for.

I'm at a measly 15" (from hairline) but glad to have this community to hopefully get past it.

The worst part is that the 15" doesn't divulge of the very short layers in my hair (especially the top)! It'll be half a year until those even reach chin. Wish me luck! Happy Growing, all!

I'm jumping over to this thread now. I had my hair trimmed today for the first time in over 10 months and I really like my soft, thicker ends. So I think I'll get my hair trimmed every 6 months or so, though only half an inch or less. I did have over an inch trimmed today though.
My records so I can keep track...

    1st May: 22.4"
    1st October: ~25"
    13th December: 26.3"
    23rd January: 27.4"!
    23rd Feb: before trim = 27.8", after trim = 26.3" (-1.5")

So that puts me back to where I was mid december at BSL.

Just had my last trim 2 weeks ago and I'm off to be a non trimmer. I'm at 20.5''..I think..I'm not a pro at measuring... 3.5'' away from APL!

I'm at 51" (or 4'3") from the hairline as of tonight, but according to DH who measured, the last 4"-6" are only ten hairs. It's time for a trim, but my scraggly fairy-tale ends are at "can I call this knee-length?" and I hate hate hate losing length...even though I miss my old thick blunt ends. The eternal dilemma!

1c/2a/F/ii/iii -- trimmed the scraggly ends from knee back to classic.

No my hair isn't shrinking There was a 2 inch trim in there. I'm planning on just microdusting for the rest of the year. I wanted to go without trims, but am so prone to splits that I just can't.
