    Default Burts Bees poo bar

I want to try a poo bar and I wanted to ask if anyone has tried the one from Burts Bees.

I have used there condish and my hair loves it, so I figured same brand might be a good first try.

Any coments or suggestions would be a great help

    Thank you.

I bought one last summer, and didn't like it at all (the rosemary bar). It didn't condition the way other shampoo bars do that I've made myself or bought from small soap crafters (usually from CV). I ended up using the Burt's Bees shampoo bar for washing my dog.

I was also not a fan of it, but I can't remember why... I think for the same reason as Sunshine69 though--it was, er, very very cleansing, and not so moisturizing. Though I may have also gotten waxies.

I haven't tried it, but I remember reading some messages from members who didn't like it at all.

    The ingredients are listed as:
ngredients: vegetable soap base, glycerin, rosmarinus officinalis (rosemary) leaf oil, yucca schidigera leaf extract, avena sativa (oat) kernel protein, mentha piperita (peppermint) oil, urtica dioica (nettle) leaf powder, rosmarinus officinalis (rosemary) leaf extract, persea gratissima (avocado) oil, cocos nucifera (coconut) oil, panthenol

I don't see any SLS in there (like some Lush bars have), but it does contain protein and panthenol, which is a problem for some.

Oh, and I found this post, about the bar:

Thank you, I wont waste my time or money. I guess I'll try the CV since it is a cult favorite here.

I'v used the Baby Bee Shampoo Bar and quite liked it...kinda forgot about that. I followed with a vinegar rinse. It's many months ago, and I didn't use it very much till I discovered and got sidetracked by CWC. I intend to go back and try that bar again. It's still in the shower and I've been using it as my body soap It lasts forever.

Just wanted to check back and say that I got two CV bars, Coco and Nettel. I tryed the coco and loved it. I have yet to try the Nettle, going to do one at a time for a couple of weeks each.

    Thanks everyone!
